Hello Miss Thunder! Who is your favorite mutant from Marvel Comics? Mine is Ms. Marvel!

Miss Thunder: Ooh, tough question! The X-Men are my favorite fictional superhero team, along with the New Mutants, Excalibur, and X-Force so it's hard for me to pick just one!

If I HAD to pick one though, it'd probably be Kitty Pryde. I was about the same age as she was when I started reading X-Men comics in general so I've always had a soft spot for her even if she was the "Kid" character at the time. She's grown so much since those early awkward years at Xavier's and has really become an essential part of whatever team she's on. I'm also glad she changed her old codenames of Sprite and Ariel (Bleh) and went with Shadowcat ever since the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine miniseries. It was so good! That was when she really made the transition into an amazing fighter, she could probably give Talon a run for her money!

Now, as of my time, she's with Excalibur, a British mutant team! I loved Alan Moore's run on Captain Britain so seeing him and Kitty on the same team was like a dream come true. Plus, a potential runner-up in Favorite Mutant is also on the Excalibur team, Nightcrawler! I've always loved his design and his backstory of looking like a traditional devil but is a truly devout Christian. His powers (mainly teleporting) are cool and I love that despite his looks, he chooses to be a good person and has a fun personality.

Aaaaaaaah, I love this book so much! I highly recommend it!

Also, since when was Carol Danvers a mutant? Didn't Rogue take her powers and she became Binary later? Hmmm.....

honestly it pisses me off so bad when comic book artists draw Rachel looking mid as hell. cause like sis did not go thru plastic surgery ala Spiral and being Scott and Jean's kid just to not be built like a brick shithouse and to have a shitty lesbian haircut

Not to get in too deep in the Weeds about it, but who thought it would be a good idea to have Si Spuerrier be the one to finally write the Mystique + Destiny = Nightcrawler plot? Like ignoring the fact that they should have brought back Chris Claremont to pull that trigger because it was his original idea and he's the reason why anyone would care about any of those characters today, but like fine you don't ask Chris, Spuerrier still isn't even in the top 10 of writers I would have do this plotline because as a writer I don't think he's able to do an emotional or satisfying payoff that is this 40+ years of a smoking gun plot.

Also why have Spuerrier do it now for when about the whole Kraokoa era Destiny and Mystique haven't really interacted with either Kurt or Rogue in any meaningful or interesting ways, so there's not like meaningful set up or an added weight to what should be this total bombshell?

Idk it just smells of Marvel going 'Fine, we did it. Happy now?' to the fans and not like planning on continuing this thread in any interesting way.

Besideees, though I finally could update my Umbra's fic (between commissions), I feel unsure... don't know if put "Drifter's Name (D/N)" or something more in the next update.

What would be better for the reading? I'm trying to made this fic not-so-about my Tenno/Drifter (because the "long-version" will be about my Tenno/Drifter with the names I chose for them, and the choice between Margulis/Natah/Lotus —may in spanish for a while as my Jade fic) buuut, right now I'm still with the "general version" and need help with this 😓

still figuring out the details but he'll most likely come into the action around the same time as the camelot season, but more of a like side quest type situation, or a chance meeting in the forest.
